Efficacy of Virtual Equipment Training

The University of Ottawa faculty engineering, in Canada, is home to multiple rapid prototyping facilities as well entrepreneurship spaces. This includes a makerspace, machine shop and design space for any student use free charge. Due COVID-19 the spaces were either shut down or running virtual activities where possible. In absence significant content learners, computer simulations reality developed various technologies including manual mill lathe, laser cutter soldering. Even restrictions are being lifted, will be used pre-training introduction in-person sessions. paper aims understand how training compare compliment different equipment. Factors considered level previous knowledge interest same assessment given 3 groups participants: those who have only done training, both. results from each group compared analyzed determine efficacy simulation what advantages it has resource.
